Honor announced Honor Band 4 successor of Honor Band 3 announced last year along with the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. It features a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touchscreen display. It comes with continuous heart rate tracking and is also water resistant up to 50 meters with Swim stroke recognition. It features Huawei TruSleep 2.0 uses cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor complete sleep structure including deep sleep to analyses sleep and offer personalized sleep recommendations. The Huawei TruSeen 2.0 heart rate technology offers 24-hour continuous heart monitoring during the multiple activities like walking, running, cycling and more. It comes with a 100mAh battery with up to 14 days of usage time, 20 days standby time.
Honor also announced Honor Band 4 Running Edition with POLED black and white screen. Honor Band 4 Running Edition comes without the heart rate sensor and 77mAh battery with up to 20 days of standby time. It features a 6-axis sensor which improves activities detection by measuring cadence, step length, ground contact time, foot strike pattern, landing impact, eversion excursion, and swing angle. It features water resistant up to 50m.
The Honor Band 4 will be available in Black, Blue and Pink colors and costs 199 yuan (US$ 29). The Honor Band 4 Running Edition will be available in Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Pink colors and cost 99 yuan (US$ 14.5). Both the Bands will be available in China starting September 20.
Supports Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Both the bands are compatible with Android 4.4 (or later) or iOS 9.0 (or later). Call and Message notification, Incoming calls, mute function, and support for NFC for payments.
