August security patch rollout started for BlackBerry KEY2

BlackBerry KEY2 devices started to receive August 5th security update. First, the update has been rolled out in Hong Kong last week and now the update started to hit devices in North America.

The update brings August security patch and along with camera improvements. The update weighs around 400MB and carries the build number ABE181. Many users have reported that after the update the Wi-Fi calling Menu is still missing and some improvements have been seen in the Bluetooth connectivity.

The update will be rolled out in phases and it will take another couple of days for the update to roll out in wider. Updates can be checked manually by heading to Settings–> System updates –> Check for updates
