OnePlus has rolled out a new update for its OnePlus 6 users, OxygenOS 5.1.11. The update brings multiple bug fixes and general improvements. OnePlus 6 users started facing the screen flickering issue in daylight from last month and this happens in the bright ambient lighting conditions when adaptive brightness was turned on in the device. Now the issue has been fixed in the OxygenOS 5.1.11.
The update also brings improved camera HDR mode, Optimized network connection, Optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection. Additionally, the update also brings an option to confirm your PIN code without tapping the checkmark button. Once the PIN number entered if correct after entering the last digit device will be unlocked immediately. This feature can be modified in Settings > Security & lock > PIN.
Currently, the update is rolled out to a limited number of users and if no critical bugs found in the update, the broader rollout will happen in a few days.
