Asus to launch a ROG gaming smartphone in June

Razer announced its gaming-centric smartphone, later by Xiaomi’s Black Shark and recent ZTE Nubia Red Magic the gaming phone. Now ASUS is joining the wheel with its gaming smartphone under their ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand. Still this news is not officially confirmed so take this as a pinch of salt.

According to a inside source, Asus is readying to launch its gaming-oriented smartphone this year at Computex in Taiwan (June 5-9). We do not have any other details including the specifications of the device. Device is expected to power by Qualcomm’s flagship processor Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM or more and high-refresh rate display for a smooth gaming experience, somewhere in the realm of 120 or even 144 Hz.
