Verily to manage data from NIH’s 10 year, 1M patient “precision health” research program

  • Verily, has been keeping busy with R&D the past year. Now, the company is adding another project to its load after the National Institutes of Health (NIH) tapped it to co-launch President Obama’s previously announced Precision Medicine Initiative.


  • All of Us program is officially launching and open for enrollment, is targeting one million participants with the program running for at least 10 years.


  • Verily will be working on storing and organizing data for researchers. This broader research program hopes to make this data set available to “a vibrant community of traditional and non-traditional researchers,” including individual citizen scientists and PhD researchers at large institution.
