Meizu has confirmed that it is working with Google for its new Android Go Edition smartphone. Today a new Samsung smartphone has been spotted in a benchmark listing. The device carries the model number SM-J260G, it will be an entry level smartphone as per the leaked details.
The SM-J260G has been spotted in the Geekbench database with 1GB RAM and optimized version of the Exynos 7570 with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 1.43GHz. Device runs on Android 8.1 as the OS version is a major indication that this is likely an Android Go device. Motherboard is mentioned as “Universal7570_Go,” yet another indication of this device’s Android Go device.
However, Samsung does not provide any official information about the device. Samsung has already launched multiple entry level smartphones in emerging markets, if this Android Go is to be held then Samsung might provide fluid experience to their users with no customizations and expect more sales in emerging markets.
