OxygenOS 5.0.1 rollout started for OnePlus 3/3T

OnePlus has recently released OxygenOS 5.0 based on Android Oreo 8.0. After the major OS upgrade, now OnePlus has rolled out bug fixes based on Oxygen OS 5.0.1. The update brings latest December security patch, Support for apptX HD, General bug fixes and System stability improvements.

After the update, there are multiple reports of users seeing a ‘Uninstall harmful app?’ warning. The message, which comes from Google Play Protect, recommends users uninstall a system app called ‘FactoryMode.’ It was designed to assist the device during the manufacturing process.
Since the FactoryMode app is only used for diagnostic purposes, there are no issues if you choose to uninstall it.
The update will be rolled in phases, it will take couple of days to reach all the users across the globe.
