Google Assistant now supports phone with 5.0 Lollipop and rolling out to Android tablets

Google Assistant is already available to multiple devices such as phones, speakers, watches and more in multiple languages. Google Assistant will help us on many tasks like reminders, play music, control your smart devices like plugs and lights, ask about the weather and more.
Now Google Assistant is coming to Android tablets running Android Marshmallow (6.0) and Nougat (7.0) and additionally it also coming to Android phones that runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. Google Assistant for tablets will be rolled out in couple of days to the user in US with language set as English.
The Google Assistant rolled out for device running Android 5.0 Lollipop with the language set to English in the U.S., UK, India, Australia, Canada and Singapore, as well as in Spanish in the U.S., Mexico and Spain. It’s also rolling out to users in Italy, Japan, Germany, Brazil and Korea. Once you get the update and opt-in, you’ll see an Assistant app icon in your “All apps” list.
