Google Pixel 2 with a Snapdragon 836 SoC to arrive on October 5

As per the leakster Evan Blass on twitter, the Google Pixel to have Snapdragon 836. If the rumor gets to be true, the Pixel 2 will be the first device to feature with SD 835 chipset.

The Pixel 2 may feature a 5″AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 p resolution, will run on Android O out-of-the box, powered by SD 835 SoC, dual octo-core processors – 4×2.45 GHz Kryo & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo, Adreno 540 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory,  Google might make this the flagship device with water-resistant feature as well.

On the optics, rear – 12.3 MP, EIS (gyro) with phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and  front – 8 MP sensor.

The connectivity option include Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0,  USB 3.0, Type-C, GPS and NFC support.
