Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 5A priced at Rs 10,000 in China for now and will bring the device to India very soon. It is the successor of Redmi Note 4A.
The Redmi Note 5A has a 5.5″ 1280x720px LCD, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. There is a a 16MP front-facing camera and 13MP camera on the back. The phone features a fingerprint scanner on the back and it packs a 3,080 mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A comes in three colors – Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum Silver Gray and three RAM configurations. The base model has 2GB of RAM which costs CNY 699 (€89), there’s a 3GB+32GB version priced at CNY 899 (around €114) and a 4GB+64GB high-end model that is priced CNY 1,199 (€152).
