Google Pixel 2 Features Like Active Edge, Snapdragon 835 Revealed Through FCC Documents

Google is rumored to announce next generation Pixel smartphones ( Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphones) in October this year. The Google Pixel 2 has been certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the FCC documents have revealed some key features of the smartphone.
The FCC documents contains multiple references of HTC which corroborates the rumors that claim that the Taiwanese company is assembling the Google Pixel 2. However, it will be advertised as “made by Google” product as previos generations. Model number is mentioned as GO11A which was also spotted when a unknown HTC handset had received Wi-Fi certification. The FCC filing shows that electronic edition of labeling system for the upcoming Google Pixel phones.

The above screenshot has mentioning of Active Edge in Settings which indicates the Edge Sense feature which is available in HTC U11 will, will be made available in Google Pixel 2. The pressure-sensitive metallic frame on the HTC U11 can be squeezed to launch various functions on it. On Google Pixel 2, the Active Edge will be at least used for activating Google Assistant or some other functions(may be).
The Pixel smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 835 as per the leaked screenshot(Baseband version : ms9889) and comes with Android 8.0 preinstalled. As per the screenshot Pixel will have 64GB of storage and the settings page also shows that the 21 percent of internal storage space has been used and around 50.66 GB is left.
