Sharp, one of the best screen makers who knows how to make a bezel-less smartphone has released their next smart phone Aquos S2 today at an event in Beijing.
The phone will be sold for CNY2,499 or CNY2,799 (around $370 or $420), based on chipset and memory versions. A global roll out is expected on August 14.
The Aquos S2 features, 5.5″ with 4K resolution, 4/6 GB RAM and 46/128GB storage, powered by chipset Snapdragon 630/660 and Adreno 508 GPU. It also supports Bluetooth 5, Quick Charge 4 and USB-C 3.1.
On the back, a dual camera in a vertical setup is positioned. The sensors are 12 MP and 8 MP, mostly used for background blur. There is also another 8 MP snapper on the front. The Aquos S2 has Android Nougat for an OS.
